A pumpkin in the cage . . . .
. . . . is worth two on the vine ;-) I really don't have a fitting title or story for this one, except that I've had this image in my head for quite some time and had to get it out! In retrospect I could have used a crow on the cage to give it more of a halloween feel maybe? Linking to Brag Monday - the beautiful postard, the cage and the pumpkin are courtesy of the wonderful Graphics Fairy!

Cozy seat
I was so happy when I saw the Sunday Postcard Art challenge was mushroom this week. This beautiful mushroom image was posted by the Graphics Fairy a week or two ago and I could hardly wait to use it. Linking to Brag Monday.

Milk door
Look mom I'm inside, there's a hole in the door - the good stuff's in here . . .
Linking to Three Muses for Doors challenge and thanks to time zones I can still slip this one in for Brag Monday ;-) - the catnip images are from a vintage seed envelope from Karen's blog.

Queen of green
Now there's a title that describes me ;-) I simply could not resist using my favourite colour again - I love how dramatic the green looks with the black! The crown, stones and silhouette are from Graphics Fairy, so I am linking to Brag Monday. I always look forward to a Monday to hop over there and see all the creative and inspiring ideas - thanks for visiting if you're coming from there.

Peacock label
I draw so much inspiration from vintage labels and love to work with them, they are so full of detail. And of course I could not stay away from green with all the amazing shades on this peacock. This is my entry for the something round challenge at Theme Thursday.

Eyespresso
Let me see, where did the inspiration for this design come from . . . maybe it is the espressos, macchiatos, cappuccinos and lattes that appear on my desk while I am working. In my eyes (excuse the pun) - my husband is a barista of note and he really spoils me with his creations. I had so much fun with this Three Muse's challenge - eyes. Cafedomancy is the art of reading the future in coffee grounds, which goes back to the earliest days of coffee drinking.

Violet - green
When in doubt, use green - that's my motto! . . .and then combine it with purple ;-) I googled "violet-green" this morning and discovered that it is the name of a beautiful small North American swallow, had I known this last night that little swallow would have been sitting right there on the frame. I am entering this for Theme Thursday's challenge this week - the colour green.

Tea anyone?
I love this quote from Alice in Wonderland, so funny!
"Of all the silly nonsense, this is the stupidest tea party I've ever been to in all my life"

Perles organiques
No collage today, instead I played around with this charming label from the graphics fairy - thought it needed a bit of glamming up. I wouldn't mind picking these beauties from my veggie garden.

No smoking
There is something about the smell of pipe smoke that evokes feelings of nostalgia within me, I guess it reminds me of my grandfather.

Behind the green door
Collage Obsession's theme this week is - Door. This was my first challenge and I really enjoyed it. I started this collage some time ago and kept it in my unfinished projects folder, it needed something, I just did not know what that was - until yesterday! I realized it needed a door of course!

Purple iris
Dating back to ancient Greek times, purple irises were planted over the graves of woman to summon the Greek goddess Iris to guide them in their journey.
I discovered Collage Obsession today and will try and take part in their weekly challenge.

Shades of green
I wish I had a dress form just like this one, with or without the owl. I spotted an owl in our garden some time ago and couldn't stop looking at it - so gorgeous!

Couture organique
This cabbage had fabulous skirt written all over it . . . . . you gotta use your imagination sometimes ;-)
I never get tired of the combination of purple and green, although I am a bit biased considering that it is my two favourite colours.

Mirror, mirror on the wall
I had so much fun with this design - just love the cute bunny! Although it might be a hare - according to those who know, rabbits live underground in burrows or warrens, while hares live in simple nests above the ground. Hares are generally larger than rabbits, with longer ears, and have black markings on their fur. Seeing that this one lives in a château and sleeps on a pink Louis XIV chair - I declare it a bunny!
