I have two very dear friends from Japan, who have taught me so much about Japanese culture and also brought me lovely gifts, my favourite being beautiful paper! I actually wanted to use a piece of rice paper as background on which my friend Yuka wrote my name in Japanese, but could not find it last night - much to my dismay! So here is my entry for the Oriental challenge over at Three Muses today.
Such a lovely card Tania! xx

ReplyDeleteIt's so nice you have friends from Japan and have learned some Japanese customs. Your piece is so very pretty and I love the handwriting on the background paper.

ReplyDeleteA super card, Tania!
ReplyDeleteOne of the blogs I read regularly, http://purplume.wordpress.com, has a lot about Japan and I've become fascinated with it, too. Love your card,
