Price tag

Are these bargains or what?  I don't have the faintest idea what you would pay for a nice old vintage chair and a pair of satin slippers in dollars, please let me know how far off the mark I am  ;-) This is my entry for the Vintage and tags challenge at Theme Thursday.

Pigeon post

In a way pigeon post could be considered the first form of airmail. Pigeons are still used to carry messages in some remote regions of the world where other postal options are not available, and pigeon enthusiasts also keep birds for the purpose of sending messages to other enthusiasts, keeping this ancient tradition alive. This is my entry for the Mail Art challenge at Three Muses.

Queen of green

Now there's a title that describes me ;-) I simply could not resist using my favourite colour again - I love how dramatic the green looks with the black! The crown, stones and silhouette are from Graphics Fairy, so I am linking to Brag Monday. The Cat and the Fiddle

Well, it's actually a cello ;-) but it's the best title I could come up with. I made this as a thank you card for a friend and is a combination of a few things she loves.

New York, New York

My entry for Three Muses challenge - Flying carpet travels. I will direct my flying carpet to land on top of the Empire State Building in New York, from where I will take a yellow cab to explore the city. Grab a bagel for lunch before taking a stroll through Central Park, and of course hop on the ferry to visit Lady Liberty. To those who can dream there is no such place as faraway . . .

Peacock label

I draw so much inspiration from vintage labels and love to work with them, they are so full of detail. And of course I could not stay away from green with all the amazing shades on this peacock. This is my entry for the something round challenge at Theme Thursday.

Song of the Rose Fairy

Guns 'n roses

I am not 100% back with all guns blazing, but I have something to share. I wanted to use this gun since the first time I saw it over at the Graphics Fairy - now that could sound strange if you were not looking at the picture ;-)

I am happy to report that my daughter is doing very well after her surgery, but we are still taking this week off to fully recover, also enjoying the last week of school holiday and the World cup soccer.
