Victorian elegance

Three elegant Victorian ladies as my entry for Three Muses Victorian elegance challenge. I have to say - I don't know how you sit down wearing one of these, but they sure are beautiful, love the fabric!!!

Ha! Love your comment...maybe the bustles and all the standing are why Victorian women always look so stern and pensive. Women's Lib may have come about sooner if they could have put on a pair of comfy jeans! Thanks for the smile...I like your work VERY much.

Don't you wonder what they wore to do their housework. Surely they had to do housework on occasion! Thanks for sharing these three lovely ladies with us!

Lovely, Tania!

Yes, it looks more as if someone could sit down on the backs of their dresses! Beautiful work, Tania.

This is wonderful and I have often thought the same thing!

I wonder if they threw their corset off every afternoon like I do my bra. Well done.

What a coincidence, you and Judy (Mangaroa Made) used the same image (a very good one). You framed it beautifully.

I just want to know how these ladies actually sat down with those enormous bustles! Brilliant fun.
