The fox and the hound

A collage of some of my favourite things, I find it difficult to express in words my love for owls - aren't they just the most wonderful creatures. Lately I am fascinated with foxes, and don't get me started on my forever love for roses and shades of green and pink and vintage labels, postcards, birdcages . . . you get the picture :)

Friday freebie - mother's day card and envelope

I designed this card for mother's day, but you can pretty much use it for any occasion. Print on cardstock to make it nice and sturdy. You can download it here -  I hope my instructions are clear ;-) Have a great weekend! I used this beautiful french typography and this stunning french invoice from the Graphics Fairy for the envelope background. Vintage

Tricycles, bicycles and old reading glasses, thimbles and inkpots and antique brushes, rusty old keys and golden birdcages, dress forms and old scales and silver cutlery . . . .  these are a few of my favourite things. My entry for Take a Word vintage challenge.

A pumpkin in the cage . . . .

. . . .  is worth two on the vine ;-)  I really don't have a fitting title or story for this one, except that I've had this image in my head for quite some time and had to get it out! In retrospect I could have used a crow on the cage to give it more of a halloween feel maybe? Thé de papillon

Butterfly tea- it's a little crazy, but I like the idea! Of course not to drink -  to sit and wait to see how the fragile beauties emerge from the spout to display their amazing colours. It started of as an Alice in Wonderland theme, but then I got totally carried away by the butterflies. It is believed that when a butterfly lands on you it means good luck.
