“Advertisements contain the only truths to be relied on in a newspaper" ~ Mark Twain . . . . well, I don't know if that is still true today? My entry for the newspaper challenge at Three Muses.

Roaring Twenties
I really like the boyish look of the 1920's, although there was not a lot of emphasis on body shape it had it's own kind of charm. The waistline if any, was located somewhere around the hips. The confining corset was discarded, replaced by a chemise or camisole and bloomers which was later shortened to panties or knickers and during the mid-twenties all-in-one lingerie became popular. My favourite - the short hairstyles such as the Bob cut, Eton Crop and the Marcel Wave became popular. Thanks for taking the time to visit - my entry for the 1920's challenge at Three Muses.

A Bridal Affair
Hope you had a great weekend, mine was very busy and I struggled a little bit with inspiration for my designs, somehow this bride silhouette just caught my eye - I was tempted to add flowers or a birdie, but sometimes keeping it simple just works - don't you think? Dark lady
I simply love silhouette images, I want to try and make some over the holidays of our family. This is my 3rd last post for the year - wrapping things up for the summer holiday ahead - cannot wait! Linking to Brag Monday silhouette, background and butterflies are from the Graphics Fairy.
